One Piece, episode 1093, hit our screens on February 11, 2024, plunging fans into the heart of an epic clash between Law’s crew and Blackbeard’s, crossing swords in the middle of the new world.

At the center of the action, a duel of the titans pitted the two captains, Law and Blackbeard, promising an explosive turn of events as the outcome seemed to darken for Law.

But that’s not all. One detail caught fans’ attention: Marshall D. Teach, aka Blackbeard, repeatedly used haki while emitting red lightning bolts.

Most agreed that this was a simple animation, raising the burning question: Does Blackbeard have Conqueror’s Haki?

Proof that Blackbeard is a Conqueror’s Haki user:

Personally, I think Blackbeard is a Conqueror’s Haki user, and I’ll explain why.

Does Blackbeard have Conqueror's Haki

We recently saw the Conqueror’s Haki animation around rayleigh during the navy and Blackbeard assault on amazon Lily!

Similarly, not long before, Shanks graced us with a mythical scene using and targeting his Conqueror’s Haki on ryokugyu at long range.

Now I’ll leave you to compare these red flashes with those glimpsed in the fight vs. Law.

Does Blackbeard have Conqueror's Haki

Looking back, the previous 4 yonkos were all Conqueror’s Haki users and were witness to their use:

  • Whitebeard Vs Roger
  • Big Mom during the tea party
  • Kaido Vs Luffy during their fight
  • Shanks on Ryokugyu

To respect the power scale and a form of parallelism, I think the new yonkos also have Conqueror’s Haki, and Blackbeard is one of them.

Blackbeard: an ideal candidate for the Conqueror’s Haki!

Does Blackbeard have Conqueror's Haki

Blackbeard is no ordinary pirate; he’s an anomaly in the One Piece universe.

Starting from nothing, this man has carved his way to the top with unshakeable determination, defying established laws and norms. His ability to orchestrate complex plans and take advantage of chaotic situations demonstrates uncommon intelligence and cunning.

His quest for power knows no bounds: possessing not one, but two demon fruits, a feat reputed to be impossible, testifies to his exceptional nature and his refusal to accept the limits imposed by the world.

Conqueror’s Haki: A Force for Dominants

Conqueror’s Haki, the mystical force that chooses only the most charismatic and dominant beings, those destined for greatness, seems tailor-made for a character of Blackbeard’s caliber.

This Haki is not simply a manifestation of power; it reflects an iron will capable of influencing the world and imposing its presence.

The rarity of this gift, reserved for an elite group of warriors, underlines the exceptionality of those endowed with it.

Why Blackbeard is an Ideal Candidate

Blackbeard, with his all-consuming ambition to overthrow the world order and elevate himself to the rank of King of Pirates, embodies the very essence of Conqueror’s Haki.

His ability to endure hardship, to rally forces under his black banner, and above all, to place himself constantly at the heart of the most cataclysmic events of the current era, echoes the intrinsic qualities required to master this Haki.

Does Blackbeard have Conqueror’s Haki ? Verdict :

His career, marked by betrayal, strategy and raw power, suggests a will capable of dominating the course of battles and bending realities to his desire.

Blackbeard isn’t just a power-hungry pirate; he’s a phenomenon who defies the norms of the One Piece universe.
His story, his rise and his ambition seem to be directly linked to the concept of Conqueror’s Haki.

While the debate rages on and theories multiply, one thing remains certain: Blackbeard is a prime candidate for possession of Conqueror’s Haki.
